Captain Chess is founded and led by Biswajit Bharadwaj — a FIDE Instructor, International Rated Chess Player, and one of the youngest Senior National Arbiters in India. He is also the first international chess arbiter from Assam and Northeast India.

Yes. Most children who join Captain Chess are complete beginners. We assess every child before placing them in a group, so they always start at the right level.
What age groups do you accept?
We accept children between 5 and 15 years old. Batches are grouped by age and level, so children learn alongside peers at a similar stage.
How many children are in each batch?
